As the founding owner-manager of Yabbie Design in Essendon I was responsible for it's transition from a one-designer operation to a hard-working studio of six, with a well-earned professional reputation for quality print design, reliability, good working relationships with clients and ‘care factor’. Clients included local councils, AFL clubs, government, professional and service organisations, and businesses of all sizes - delivering more than 3500 successful projects over 17 years.

In 2005, I reluctantly sold Yabbie Design to take a necessary break and 'smell the roses'. However, I continued to work on selected projects from home, and in the process have been reinvigorated and ‘reborn’again as a graphics professional, but one who offers more than just graphic design.

Producing a successful communication project involves the successful integration of many key elements, including: design creative, campaign and marketing strategy, identifying key messages, objective copywriting for target audience, sourcing photographic resources, applying branding and deciding on cost-effective print and electronic formats. As a design and communications 'all-rounder' I can offer expertise in these areas and more.

I believe I am of most value to clients who need those key elements identified and brought together, appreciate a proactive, thoughtful and organised approach and see the advantage in the 20+ years of experience and added value that I endeavour to bring to each project (big or small).

I pride myself on working closely with clients to understand and develop their project, converting their information, messages and/or objectives into something reader-effective, visually engaging, budget sensitive and reflecting positively on their organisation...and delivering on-time.
